Pre-orders of Sony Xperia XA1 begin in the US, launching soon

Sony's smartphone is to become available at retail stores on May 1st. Before that, though, the device can be pre-ordered by any interested US buyer. Xperia XA1's price is $299.99.

Specification:

- 5', 720p display (kinda lame),
- 3GB RAM, 32GB storage memory, microSD up to 256GB,
- MediaTek Helio P20 CPU, 8-core, 64-bit,
- 23mpx rear camera with low-light performance support and f/2.0 aperture (pretty awesome); 8mpx front camera,
- 2,300 mAh battery,
- Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

Device will be available in, among others, Amazon, Fry’s Electronics and Best Buy. Sony plans to release a version with a larger, 6' and 1080p, display some time after 1st of May.
