Xiaomi Mi 6, a strong phone for a down-on-the-ground price

You know me, I don't feel like paying over a thousand bucks for a smartphone. Perhaps that is why I have to admire Xiaomi for making a phone that, for around 360-400 dollars, offers nearly the same quality that the $1000 Galaxy S8 does. Look at this specification, then look me in the eyes and tell me, honestly, that no, this phone is so much worse than recent flagships:

- 5.1 inch screen, IPS LCD, 1080 x 1920p,
- Snapdragon 835 CPU,
- Adreno 540 GPU, 8-core,
- 6GB RAM, 64/128 GB inner memory,
- dual main camera 12mpx, phase detection, autofocus, dual LED flash; 8mpx selfie shooter, films in 1080p,
- waterproof,
- 3350 mAh battery,
- Android 7.1 Nougat OS.

Okay, alright, this is not on the very same level as Galaxy S8. It has no supposedly grand Bixby Ai assistant, no great (if flawed; see our today's and yesterday's news) display and no IP68 certificate. Still... considering the price, maybe it is a good idea to reconsider your upcoming flagship plans?
