On 30th December, Samsung has ended its Galaxy Beta Program, basically a large-scale beta tests of the Android 7.0 Nougat OS on the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge phones. The company has announced that it will do its best to release the update in January (”as soon as possible”). Samsung usually releases its updates in stages, though, so do not expect every Galaxy S7/S7 edge owner to receive it at the same time. Older Samsung phones are also scheduled to receive this update in the future.
