Unlocking instruction for Nokia 6300 ?

The unlocking instruction for Nokia 6300 is not very complicated, but you need to remember that you have only 3 tries to enter the codes.
If you enter the codes incorrectly more than 3 times, the code counter might get blocked.

Follow these 5 steps to make your Nokia 6300 network free
1. Turn on the phone without any sim card
2. Enter the following sequence (#pw+unlock code+1#) on your NOKIA 6300 just like a phone number*
* Characters p, w, + will appear after pressing the *(star) symbol a couple of times
4. Press # at the end to confirm the code
5. Message "SIM restriction OFF" should appear.
Your Nokia 6300 is now unlocked !!!

Nokia 6300 has only one correct unlock code. If you enter codes provided by free generators too many times, you can block the code counter in your device. Every Nokia 6300 has a restricted number of tries to enter an unlock code. When the code counter gets blocked, you can loose a chance to unlock your Nokia 6300 permanently, even when you use Nokia software.
If your Nokia 6300 has a network blockade but you don't know in what network exactly, you can check it by using your phone's IMEI number.

I received a working unlock code the next day for my old good Nokia 6300, for which the operator itself, Bouygues Telecom, France, could not provide the code back in the day, after I had changed operator : incompetent helpdesk. I wish I had tried finding unlock codes online before. I rarely do reviews online; I would not have tried this site if not for the genuine reviews read here and also on Trustpilot, so I add my contribution too.
